Excellent quality herbs!

I purchased a bulk order of Astragalus and Goji Berries, and I was incredibly impressed with the quality. The herbs were fresh, aromatic, and very clean, much better than what I've found from other suppliers online. The packaging was secure, and everything arrived without any damage. I also picked up one of their glass jars for infusing, and it's really sturdy. Shipping was surprisingly quick, only 3 days to get to me in Oregon! I will absolutely be buying my bulk herbs from them again.

Good product, slow shipping

I ordered the Ancestors Advanced Dit Da Jow kit and it arrived exactly as described. The herbs looked fresh and well-packaged. The infusion process was straightforward with the included instructions. However, it took 8 days for the package to reach my address in Florida, which felt a bit long. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status, but I wish the initial delivery estimate had been more accurate. Overall, a solid product for the price.

Loved the Iron Palm stuff

Got some of that Ku Yu Cheung Iron Palm liniment after hearing about it from my training buddies. It arrived pretty fast, like 4 days to California. The bottle was sealed good, no leaks. Been using it on my hands after practice and it really feels like it helps with the soreness. Definitely happy with it.

looking at the 'ancestors advanced' jow kit, but how do these guys compare to like, starwest botanicals? are plum dragon's herbs really that much better quality?

M Mia F. 2 months ago

Plum Dragon focuses specifically on traditional martial arts formulas, so their blends are super specific for that. Starwest is more general bulk herbs. I find the quality for jow to be top-notch from Plum Dragon.

M Mark E. 2 months ago

I've used both. For liniment kits, Plum Dragon is my go-to. Their sourcing feels more intentional for these specific recipes. For just random individual herbs, Starwest is fine, but for the jow, I'd stick with PD.

hey, was thinking about grabbing some of the dit da jow, but the aging time... is it really like months and months? just wondering if i'm gonna be waiting forever to use it.

P Phil 3 months ago

Yeah, it definitely takes a while, like minimum 3-6 months for it to really get potent. Some people even let it go a year or more. It's part of the process.

L Laura 3 months ago

Totally depends on the specific blend you get, but generally, yes. You infuse it in alcohol for a good long while. Worth the wait though, trust me.

quick question for anyone who's ordered to california, how long does shipping usually take? need some bruise juice kinda fast haha.

C Cody 2 months ago

I'm in SoCal, usually gets here within 4-5 business days for standard shipping. If you need it super fast, you might need to spring for expedited.

N Noor 2 months ago

Just got an order last week to SF, took about 6 days. Might vary a bit depending on when you order, like if it's over a weekend.

can you stack coupon codes on plum dragon? got a newsletter one and i'm hoping to use another if possible.

M Marcus N. 2 months ago

Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. That's usually how these sites work.

C Chris J. 2 months ago

I've tried before and it didn't work for me. You can only enter one at checkout, sadly. Pick the one that gives you the best deal!

military discount? my buddy told me they had one but i can't find it anywhere on the site.

I think you have to email them or go through some verification process, it's not just a code you can punch in. I remember seeing something about it in their FAQ a while back.

A Andre 2 months ago

Yeah, they do have one. My husband used it last year. You usually have to verify your service somehow. Just contact their support, they'll hook you up.
